Hippo Book Launch
Local author to release second children’s storybook at Rowayton Library

ROWAYTON, CT - Seven years ago, then recent Brien McMahon High School graduate Jeremi Bigosiński launched his own publishing house and first children’s picture storybook, Adventures in Hippoville: Harry Hippo’s Flight. College, a Fulbright, getting over that “first book hurdle” and graduate school delayed his second book, until now. Adventures in Hippoville: Harry Hippo’s Lake Party will be officially launched at the Rowayton Library in Rowayton, Connecticut on Saturday, August 8th at 10:30am.
In their newest adventure, Harry Hippo and Icdabaa (IK-duh-buh) find new friends in their breakfast. Grateful for the rescue, the animals invite Harry to a lake party! But Harry has a problem: he can’t swim!
Children and their parents will be served iced tea and watermelon, two favorite foods of Harry Hippo and Icdabaa. A coloring activity is also planned. For more information, please contact the Rowayton Library at 203-838-5038.
